Provider Onboarding Coordinator
Job Description:
Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Provider Onboarding Coordinator to join our Onboarding Team! This is a work from home position that requires residency in KY, IN, or IL.
The Provider Onboarding Coordinator provides system coordination for day-to-day activity for implementing provider and/or practice onboarding, off boarding and moves for the Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG).
The Provider Onboarding Coordinator works collaboratively with physicians, practice managers and staff, hospital leadership, and BHMG support departments.
The Provider Onboarding Coordinator must be able to successfully communicate across a wide spectrum of audiences, lead change initiatives, have strong financial and organizational skills and be able to function effectively with multiple priorities.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinates with BHMG leadership and the on-boarding physician or practice to ensure operational best practices and service excellence standards are maintained.
Assists in developing strategic short-range and long-range processes to support the organization's and practice's goals.
Coordinates with BHMG leadership, new practice staff and providers, and all members of the Onboarding Team to ensure operational problems are resolved during the on-boarding process and service excellence standards are maintained.
Provides project support for the Strategic Project Manager and Vice President of Physician Integration.
Track project milestones and deliverables and develop and deliver progress reports.
Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Develops schedules based on task breakdown, materials, and information and resource allocation plans.
Ensures positive customer relations interactions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, 5 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of the degree.
Physician Practice Start-up and Operations experience preferred.
Experience coordinating integration activities related to the set-up of newly acquired/startups preferred.
